Un programme éclectique qui allie les œuvres de quatre compositeurs notoires de musique contemporaine :

Alain Fourchotte qui est né, vit et excelle à Nice,

Marc Monnet, né à Paris, Niçois d’adoption, directeur du Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo,

Dimitris Economou, né à Thessalonique, en Grèce,

Alejandro Viñao, né à Buenos Aires en Argentine, naturalisé britannique.

Quatre compositeurs différents, quatre œuvres différentes : contrastées, allant de la poésie et du lyrisme à la folie et la tempête, des phrases longues et paisibles à la virtuosité pyrotechnique.

Upcoming performance: CCfuse for solo flute 24/02/2016

Two neighbours, the OCC and Panteion University, have collaborated on a cycle of contemporary music concerts which showcase the sound of ‘today’.

The two institutions have come together, doing away with the physical distance between them to share their common interest in culture in general and contemporary music in particular. These concerts are the result of a collaboration between OCC-selected musicians —most of them young and up-and-coming— and students studying “Culture and Cultural Management” in Panteion’s Department of Communication, Media and Culture.

The musicians and students formed into small groups which were charged with organizing and promoting both the cycle as a whole and each individual concert. The OCC is providing the working groups with advice, know-how and networking, while the project is supervised by both institutions.

Our culture is overwhelmingly visual, and a few hours spent listening to contemporary music can reveal just how surprising the sound of today can be. In these concerts, key works of the 20th and 21st centuries interact with works by Greek composers. A number of the works to be performed will be receiving their Greek premières or were commissioned especially for the cycle.

The concerts will feature compositions by: Michael Amann, George Crumb, Mario Davidovsky, Morton Feldman, Henrik Hellstenius, Rudolph Jungwirth, Karleinz Stockhausen, Jacob ter Veldhuis, Claude Vivier, George Aperghis, Nikos Ioakeim, Yannis Ioannidis, Orestis Karamanlis, Evangelia Kikou, Panayiotis Kokoras, Dimitris Maronidis, Dimitris Economou, Michalis Paraskakis and Christos Samaras.

Η Λενιώ Λιάτσου εξειδικεύεται στη σύγχρονη μουσική έχοντας ερμηνεύσει πλήθος έργων του 20ού και 21ου αιώνα αλλά και έργα ειδικά γραμμένα για την ίδια.

Πήρε το δίπλωμα πιάνου από το Μουσικό Κολέγιο Θεσσαλονίκης με καθηγήτρια την Δόμνα Ευνουχίδου και συνέχισε στο Λονδίνο με την Susan Bradshaw παίρνοντας το Βachelor από το Goldsmiths College και το Master of Music in Advanced Performance από το Royal College of Music. Με υποτροφία από το RCM μελέτησε με τον Pierre-Laurent Aimard και τον Georges Pludemarcher στο Conservatoire National Superieur στο Παρίσι. Συνέχισε τις μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές στην Μουσική Ακαδημία της Κολωνίας στο τμήμα σύγχρονης μουσικής.

Έχει δώσει συναυλίες σε αίθουσες όπως το Carnegie Hall, Purcell Room/South Bank, Blackheath Concert Hall, Mέγαρο Mουσικής Αθηνών και Θεσσαλονίκης και έχει εμφανιστεί σε Φεστιβάλ όπως το Klang (Copenhagen), Klangspuren (Innsbruck), Salzburg biennale, Kunstfestspiele Herreunhaousen Hannover, Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών, Βath Contemporary Music Festival. Έχει συνεργαστεί με συνθέτες διεθνούς βεληνεκούς όπως οι Beat Furrer, Γιώργος Απέργης, Manos Tsangaris και έχει συμπράξει με σημαντικές ορχήστρες στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό.

Είναι μέλος του Piandaemonium (6 πιάνα-12 πιανίστες) και ιδρυτικό μέλος του συνόλου σύγχρονης μουσικής dissonArt ensemble.

Η δισκογραφία της περιλαμβάνει την πρώτη εκτέλεση του κοντσέρτου για πιάνο και βιολί του Μιχάλη Λαπιδάκη με την ορχήστρα των χρωμάτων, καθώς και πλήθος έργων σύγχρονων Ελλήνων και ξένων συνθετών (DISSONANCE RECORDS, Λέσχη του Δίσκου, Naxos, ORF). Ηχογραφήσεις της έχουν αναμεταδοθεί από το Κρατικό Ραδιόφωνο της Αυστρίας, της Γερμανίας, της Σλοβενίας, της Ελλάδας και της Αυστραλίας. Πρόσφατα κυκλοφόρησε διπλό δίσκο βινυλίου με την Αυστριακή εταιρία Godrec, για τον οποίο απέσπασε διθυραμβικές κριτικές από τον διεθνή τύπο.

PIANDAEMONIUM 12 πιανίστες - 6 πιάνα στο Δημοτικό Ωδείο Λάρισας

Στην Αίθουσα Συναυλιών του Δημοτικού Ωδείου Λάρισας θα πραγματοποιηθούν δύο βραδινές παραστάσεις το Σάββατο 13 και την Κυριακή 14 Δεκεμβρίου 2014 και ώρα 20:30. Με το Piandaemonium θα συμπράξουν δύο εξαιρετικού καλλιτεχνικού επιπέδου μουσικά σχήματα της πόλης, η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων Δήμου Λάρισας υπό τη διεύθυνση του Χρήστου Κτιστάκη και η Μικτή Χορωδία Δημοτικού Ωδείου Λάρισας υπό τη διεύθυνση του Δημήτρη Καρβούνη. 

Επίσης, στις 12 και 15 Δεκεμβρίου θα πραγματοποιηθούν τέσσερις σχολικές εκπαιδευτικές παραστάσεις.

Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει έργα Κουμεντάκη, Χατζιδάκι, Σκαλκώτα, Bach,Gershwin και έργα σύγχρονων ελλήνων συνθετών (Οικονόμου, Κυριακάκης, Σαμαράς, Σαμούτης, Λαπιδάκης).

EEM - ASON 2014 Workshop - Results

My symphonic work Andante - Alice has been selected for performance at the final round of the EEM - ASON 2014 Workshop. The work will be conducted by Pavlos Sergiou and performed by A.S.O.N. in Athens.

Την Κυριακή 23 Νοεμβρίου πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία το εργαστήριο "Νέοι Συνθέτες - Νέοι Ερμηνευτές: μια Μουσική Συνάντηση", μία συνεργασία της Ε.Ε.Μ. με την Α.Σ.Ο.Ν., που φιλοξενήθηκε στο Ωδείο Αθηνών.
Η Α.Σ.Ο.Ν., υπό τη διεύθυνση του Παύλου Σεργίου, εκτέλεσε σε δοκιμή (λεττούρα) τα 10 έργα που είχαν επιλεγεί για την α' φάση, παρουσία των συνθετών.
Κατόπιν, έγινε επιλογή 6 έργων, ψήφισαν τα μέλη της επιτροπής, οι συμμετέχοντες συνθέτες και οι μουσικοί της ορχήστρας.
Επιλέχθηκαν τα έργα (με αλφαβητική σειρά των επωνύμων των συνθετών):

Collaborative Miniature Project

A thoroughly innovative idea, designed especially for the 48th Dimitria Festival in collaboration with Dimitri Papageorgiou. First performance abroad at Forum Wallis. In open (on-line) communication with composers from the length and breadth of the globe, the Thessalonian musicians of the dissonArt ensemble originally selected 111 miniatures, short original themes, which they will develop theatrically and present in an unpredictable concert, filled with sounds and melodies from the four corners of the earth. “Around the world in music” is the core idea behind the activity of the dissonArt ensemble, whose slogan is “looking for listeners who perceive music as an adventurous quest, not a passive emotional response”.

Based in Thessaloniki/Greece, the dissonArt ensemble was founded in the beginning of 2005 with the intention to disseminate the stylistic diversity of new music in Greece as well as internationally. Following the model of similar contemporary orchestral groups, the ensemble is organized around a core of 8 soloists and associated partners, with a flexible internal structure. Its programmes aim to promote works of recognized as well as emerging composers. Although its repertoire comprises all aspects of 20th and 21st century music, it also entails a special focus on Greek composers. Collaborations with groups of other artistic disciplines (dance, video-art, etc) that result in the creation of original works are among the main objectives of the dissonArt ensemble, as are pedagogical projects. To the latter end, the ensemble regularly performs student works at the Composition Workshops organized by the Thessaloniki Music Megaron and participates in seminars for performers who want to gain insight into modern performance practices and , in the past two years , have been working in collaboration with the Contemporary Music Lab of the Department of Music at the Aristotle Univerity of Thessaloniki. The dissonArt ensemble has already made several appearances in Greece and abroad, including festivals such as Ensembl[:E]uropa (Cologne 2008), Klangspuren (Innsbruck 2007), 4020. mehr als Musik (Linz, 2008), Athens Festival (2007), Dimitria Festival of Thessaloniki (2006), Patmos Festival of Religious Music (2006), Guitar Plus (2006), a.o They have also appeared in concert halls such as the Brucknerhaus (Linz), Minoritensaal (Graz), Thessaloniki Music Megaron, WDR3 a.o. For 2011 dissonArt is "ensemble in residence" of Thessaloniki Music Megaron. The dissonArt ensemble is in an ongoing search for listeners who understand music as an adventurous quest and not as a passive emotional response.
